Ugh, ugh, ugh -- I HATE diets. I even hate the fact I added this dream to this blog; I don't particularly want to admit that I am obese (ugh ugh ugh again!) I love food, I love to cook, and I've never been a skinny girl.
Unfortunately, one of the best ways to lose weight is to keep a record, so here I am. I'm not going to keep a record here of all my meals, but I'll keep track of any major exercise achievements.
To start, today I started my first stage of the South Beach Diet. Don't ask me how I picked it (it was random). There is a hardcore two week period where I can have no flour, no sugar, and then the requirements start to loosen.
I'll weigh myself tomorrow (I'm too used to avoiding the scale and ignored it this morning), and we'll see if I lose any weight in the next two weeks.
EDIT:I weigh 188.6 lbs. I'm actually kind of astonished because I thought I gained weight, and turns out I've managed to stay at my lowest for the last year. Oh well, time to knock that low off a platform. :)
